I WILL FOLLOW GOD'S PLAN

My life is a gift; my life has a plan.

My life has a purpose; in heav'n it began.

My choice was to come to this lovely home on earth

And seek for God's light to direct me from birth.

I will follow God's plan for me,

Holding fast to his word and his love.

I will work, and I will pray;

I will always walk in his way.

And in my home above.

As daughters of God we are to follow Heavenly Father's plan for us. Through love, service, and sharing our talents with others, we serve the Lord. You girls have been called to share your talents and have been asked to sing in Sacrament Meeting.

Family History

We had a guest speaker, Sister Atchley, come talk to us about family history. She explained not only it's importance, but how fun it can be to find out where we come from!

You girls did a fabulous job coloring your family trees and filling out your ancestor's names. Be sure to share your tree with your families and discuss how performing temple work blesses families.

5. What is your house/apartment like? How many bedrooms does it have?

8. Describe the personalities of your family members.

9. What is your favorite thing to do for fun?

10. Do you have family chores? What are they? Which is your least favorite?

Summer Caroling

There are Sisters in our ward that can use a visit. You girls have many different talents, but loving kindness is definitely one you all possess. Start thinking of your favorite Primary hymns that we can sing on Wednesday.

Who: All those called to serve Him!

What: We will be carol singing and delivering treats to Sisters at their homes

When: Wednesday August 17, 2011 @ 7pm please be prompt

Where: meet at the church @7pm, Sister Bish, Sister Montes, & Sister Warren will be driving the activity girls & will return them back at church to be picked up by their parents afterwards at 8pm. Parent are welcome to join the fun!

Why: through acts of kindness and just letting someone know you care is a great way to fellowship those around you

Challenge:

Choose a physical activity you enjoy or want to improve. Continue to work on it for at least one month.

It's important to take care of your body, one of the great gifts you receive by choosing to come to earth. Remember to treat your body with reverence. By caring for your body you will have the energy to help and serve others.
